From the planning stages through the final day of your event, the Michigan Shores Club offers a degree of professionalism, warmth and personal service unequaled on the North Shore.
The rich ambiance and splendor of Michigan Shores is evident from the moment your guests walk through our doors. Small and intimate, grand and elegant, or anything in between, the Michigan Shores Club is your destination for your next event.
We have hosted events such as weddings, bridal showers, baby showers bat and bar mitzvahs, benefits, business conferences and meetings, luncheons, and large and small dinner parties, to name a few examples.
Canterbury Room
The Canterbury Room is available for mid- to large sized events. Its elegance is evident in its lofty ceilings graced with millwork, a beautiful granite fireplace, golden sconces and a breathtaking view of Lake Michigan.
The Canterbury Room is adjoined by the Jessie V. and W. Clement Stone Ballroom (below). These two rooms, well-designed for use together or separately, offer spaciousness few facilities can match. The ballroom is a splendid realization of Daniel Burnham’s Tudor theme; its dark wood beams and high ceilings make a dramatic backdrop for special events. The room also features a stage for bands or presentations.

East Porch
Also located on the second floor is the East Porch (below) and dining room, both offering the perfect ambiance for mid- to large sized events, and boasts Lake Michigan as its stunning backdrop. The rooms may be booked together or separately.

For more intimate gatherings, dinners or business meetings, there’s the Michigan Room located on the first floor. The room is a great choice for small dinner parties and adult/children’s parties, since it is located down the hall from the bowling alley.

Bellows Room
Containing state-of-the-art technology, this room is the perfect venue for leisure or business; it may be rented out for business conferences or meetings as well as for private parties. The 73" HD TV is perfect for showing off family films, videos, or business presentations.
